Siemens S30810-Q2240-X IOCSN, Refurbished
The IOCSN (Input/Output Controller - Switching Network) for Hicom 300/300E, is classed as a 'central system board' (central system control), and, together with an NCG (network clock generator) and up to 7 MTS64 boards, constitutes a redundancy unit. The NCG, the maximum of 7 MTS64 boards and the IOCSN board which controls them are linked via a separate multibus.
In addition to the NCG and MTS64 control, the IOCSN board also contains the input/output control for the message traffic to the MBU board, as well as switching circuits for forwarding the external reference clocks to the NCG.
The front panel of the board contains a 7-segment display and a reset key.
